About KV

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Sasaram has been started its journey in 2014 with classes I to V in a temporary building. Later on the Vidyalaya has been shifted to its own newly constructed imposing building in the year 2018. Right now classes Balvatika – I to XII with the streams Science and Commerce are being operated. The Vidyalaya is located near Bihar Special Armed Women Police Training Camp in Rohtas district. Different means of transport to reach Vidyalaya are as follows:

• By Road: One could reach Vidyalaya by Grand Trunk Road (NH – 2).
• By Train: District Headquarters Sasaram is well connected with vast railroad network. It is on the Delhi – Howrah rail route.
• By Air: The nearest Airport of Sasaram is Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport (Varanasi), which is 137 Km away. The distance from Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport (Patna) is 147 KM.
